Odisha effects major IAS reshuffle; Prem Chandra Chaudhary appointed Director, Textiles & Handlooms

The Mohan Majhi-led BJP government on Thursday effected a major reshuffle among senior-level IAS officers in the state.

According to a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance (GA-PG) Department, Govt of Odisha, N.B.S. Rajput, IAS (RR-1999), Principal Secretary to Governor is allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government, Public Enterprises Department.

Temjenwapang Ao, IAS (RR-2000), Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, Public Enterprises Department is appointed as Special Secretary to Government, Planning & Convergence Department.

Bhupendra Singh Poonia, IAS (RR-2008), Managing Director, IPICOL with additional charge of Special Secretary to Government, lndustries Department and Managing Director, IDCO is allowed to remain in additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, Skill Development & Technical Education Department.

The additional appointment of N.B.S. Rajput, IAS as Principal Secretary to Government, Skill Development & Technical Education Department shall stand terminated from the date Shri Poonia, IAS takes over, the notification read.

Prem Chandra Chaudhary, IAS (RR-2010), Director, Agriculture & Food Production, Odisha with additional charge of Managing Director, Odisha Agro lndustries Corporation Limited is appointed as Director, Textiles & Handlooms, Odisha, Bhubaneswar.
