Odisha CM Mohan Majhi with industrialists at investors’ meet in Mumbai
Ahead of the mega investment summit Utkarsh Odisha: Make-in-Odisha Conclave 2025 in January, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi met many industrialists at the Investors’ Meet in the country’s business capital Mumbai on Friday.
As per sources, CM Majhi initiated discussions with Vedanta Chairman Anil Agarwal, JSW group head Sajjan Jindal, Godrej group Chairman Nadir Godrej, Welspun Group Chairman BK Goenka and other industrialists in the Investor’s Meet.
While CM Majhi discussed about the expansion of Vedanta with Anil Agarwal, he deliberated upon e-vehicle project with Sajjan Jindal. Emphasis was given to accelerating the proposed e-vehicle project work in Naraj.
Similarly, CM Majhi initiated a discussion with the Welspun Group regarding the proposed textile park at Choudwar in Cuttack. The CM also discussed with Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on the occasion.
“As part of the programmes we are taking up ahead of Utkasrh Odisha Make In Odisha Conclave 2025, in this second phase programme in Mumbai, we will invite and meet industrialists. On the basis of Odisha remaining top priority in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Purvodaya Mission, we are inviting investors. Odisha is definitely going to be an industrial hub in the coming days,” said Chief Minister Mohan Majhi.
