Preparations are in full swing in Odisha’s famed Puri beach as the Indian Navy readies to commemorate Navy Day on December 4 in the pilgrim town. The serene beach has transformed into a lively hub, resonating with the sounds of warships, as fighter jets and helicopters perform thrilling aerial displays.

Naval personnel and paratroopers are currently practising intricate military manoeuvres, all part of the planned celebrations at the Blue Flag beach in Puri. The venue has transformed into a mock combat zone, with warships patrolling the waters and aircraft executing tactical manoeuvres in the air. Spectacular helicopter demonstrations and naval paratroopers are set to showcase military acumen. 

A major highlight of the event will be the demonstration showcasing India's naval strategies employed against foreign threats. The strategic skills exhibited by naval forces and paratroopers aim to emphasise India's formidable defence capabilities.

In addition to military displays, musical bands are diligently practising for their performances slated for the event. Meanwhile, elite commando units are setting up hidden strongholds to perform surprise attack exercises.

Navy Day is an annual event marking India's triumph over Pakistan during the 1971 war, an event of national pride that is celebrated each year. The annual day pays tribute to the courage and gallantry displayed by the armed forces during the operation.

This commemoration not only honours past achievements but also serves as a reminder of the country's naval prowess. As usual, the event promises to be a significant draw, underscoring the Navy's role in national security.

The President of India Droupadi Murmu is expected to attend these demonstrations.
