Accident in Rourkela
As many as 50 students had a close shave as the school bus in which they were travelling lost its balance and hit a divider near House Square under Sector-3 police limits in Rourkela on Saturday.
As per reports, the bus of the private school was on its way to the educational institution when it hit a car near the House Square area. As a result, the vehicle lost its balance and hit the divider.
There were also three students in the car. Fortunately, no one has sustained any injury in the accident.

Upon being informed, Sector-3 police reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident. RTO officials also arrived at the spot to take stock of the situation.
The car, which was hit by the bus, escaped with minor damage. However, the front portion of the bus was badly damaged.
As per sources, the drivers of both vehicles were not in inebriated conditions and the accident occurred as the bus was moving at a great speed.
Earlier, a few days back, a passer-by was killed and more than 10 passengers were injured as a bus overturned near Tilo along Bhadrak-Anandpur road.
The bus was on its way to Bant from Bhadrak when the driver lost his balance over the wheel near Talapada village under Tilo Gram Panchayat and overturned in the process.
