Minor girl gang raped for three days in Rourkela
A minor girl was allegedly abducted and gang raped by three youths in Odisha's Rourkela under Sundargarh district. Police have detained the youths.
As per the allegations, the miscreants forcibly took the girl while she was roaming near Bisra Chowk in Rourkela. They kept her in a room for three days and allegedly gang-raped her.
The girl somehow managed to run away from the spot and informed about the incident to her family members. Subsequently, the family members registered a complaint at Uditnagar police station.
After receiving a complaint about the incident, Uditnagar police detained all the three miscreants in connection with the case. Till the last report came in, their questioning was underway.
Reportedly, the medical tests of the survivor and the accused will be conducted today.
As per sources, the boyfriend of the survivor was involved in the gang rape along with two other miscreants.

“The minor had fled from her home. The miscreants took her to a room and gang-raped her. A case in this connection has been registered at Uditnagar police station. The three miscreants have been detained and their questioning about the incident is currently underway,” said Rourkela DSP.
Following the shocking incident, questions have been raised over the efficiency of the police in Rourkela as similar kinds of incidents are repeatedly occurring in the city.
Earlier in September, a minor girl was allegedly gang raped and her sibling, who is also a minor, was sexually assaulted by some youths near Birsa Munda chhak in Rourkela.
