Odisha BJP president Manmohan Samal
Responding to BJD supremo and leader of opposition accusation that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came to power in Odisha by telling lies to the people, the saffron party state president Manmohan Samal took a sharp dig at the BJD supremo.
Countering Naveen, Samal said that the BJP has fulfilled its promises given to the people.
According to the senior BJP leader, the BJP has fulfilled its different promises like Subhadra Yojana, Hike in MSP of paddy and opening of Ratna Bhandar. Samal further said that it’s a trailer of development in just 100 days and the movie is there in the offing.
Moreover, the senior BJP leader asked Naveen for their list of developmental works during BJD’s 24 years of governance. In an explosive statement, Samal revealed that many BJD leaders are waiting to join the BJP.
“We have completed 100 days and it’s only a trailer. The movie is ahead. Whatever commitment we have made that has been reflected in the budget. Around 70-75 per cent of women have already received the first phase money under the Subhadra Yojana. They will again receive the second phase money in November,” said Samal.
Earlier today, addressing party workers during the launch of its Padayatra in Bhubaneswar, Patnaik had said, “You (BJP) can change name, colour but you cannot change history. People know everything and the BJP came to power by making false promises.”
