BJP National Vice-President Baijayant Panda in a membership drive in Rourkela
Kendrapara MP and BJP National Vice-President Baijayant Panda participated in the saffron party’s membership drives at various places in Sundargarh and Deogarh districts on Thursday.
The senior BJP leader took part in a membership drive of the party at Kantajhar area in Rourkela and included several people as the members of BJP. Panda also made people aware of various schemes of the government. He urged people to respect the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make BJP the largest party in the world and intensify the membership drives further.
“People are very much interested in becoming the members of BJP. We have reached the last stage of the membership drive. We have already crossed nine crore and are hopeful to cross 11 crore soon. Along with our leaders, we have made several new members in Panposh area of Rourkela today. It’s a matter of pleasure that many local leaders in the area have become active members and made more than 100 members each,” said Panda.
Panda also joined his party's membership drive in Deogarh district's Sunamunda area. He joined a door-to-door campaign along with other local leaders in the area and made several members through the mobile app.

Subsequently, BJP National Vice-President Baijayant Panda discussed with the local leaders at Deogarh circuit house and suggested that they should intensify the membership drive further.
“Kendrapara MP and BJP National Vice-President Baijayant Panda visited Sunamunda area in Deogarh district and joined in the membership drive. We visited door-to-door and made new members of BJP. Local workers and leaders of the party were encouraged. Panda’s visit is a blessing for our district,” said Deogarh district BJP president Arun Kumar Sahu.
