Anganwadi supervisor posts regularised by Odisha Cabinet 

The Cabinet also approved the establishment of the State Water Informatics Centre (SWIC) to provide a comprehensive repository of hydro-meteorological data. It will seamlessly collaborate with the National Water Informatics Centre (NWIC).

The posts of contractual Anganwadi supervisors will be regularized in Odisha. The state Cabinet approved the proposal for the regularization of 504 contractual Supervisors of the Women and Child Development Department on Thursday. 

As per reports, with the regularization of their services, the supervisors are expected to ensure uninterrupted delivery of essential services and support to vulnerable children and women under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) programmes. The job regularization of contractual Anganwadi supervisors would result in an additional burden of Rs.18.51 crore annually.
