The long wait of over 500 years was over after Lord Ram returned to his grand temple in Ayodhya on the historic day of January 22, 2024. People across the country and other parts of the world erupted in joy and tears rolled down their eyes after getting the first look of Ram Lalla.
Sculptor Arun Yogiraj, who was present during the grand Pran Prathistha ceremony in Ayodhya, said that he was the luckiest person on earth. Yogiraj’s idol was selected for installation at the grand Ayodhya temple.
However, in an interview with Aaj Tak, Yogiraj made some startling revelations. The expressions, face and eyes of Ram Lalla changed as soon as the idol was taken into the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, he said.
“I spent around 10 days in the temple’s sanctum sanctorum and also during the installation day for some marking.. Lord Ram had completely transformed after the Alanakaran (ornamentation). I was sitting there and realised that it was not my work,” said Yogiraj.
According to Yogiraj, Lord Ram changed after Alanakaran ceremony and he even shared that with others who were present there.
