The Prime Minister further said, “A lot of generations had faced separation. The entire country is celebrating Diwali and preparations are underway to lit Ram Jyoti in every household.”

The Prime Minister also apologized to Lord Ram stating that there could be something lacking in due to which this work (construction of Ram Temple) could not be done for so many years. "However, I am confident that Lord Ram will forgive us. The Ram's existence was also questioned. We thank the judiciary for doing justice and the temple was built in accordance with law," he said.
