In a new development in the ongoing marital discord between BJD MP Anubhav Mohanty and Varsha Priyadarshini, the actress on Tuesday informed the Cuttack district-judge court that she would vacate her in-law's house within a month.

On June 2, the SDJM court had directed Varsha to vacate Anubhav’s parental home in Nandi Sahi of Cuttack while hearing a petition filed by the lawmaker. Challenging the SDJM court’s order, Varsha had moved Cuttack District Judge Court which ordered an interim stay on SDJM Court’s order.

On Tuesday, Varsha filed a memo and informed the District Judge Court to vacate her husband’s house in 30 days.

Earlier while asking Varsha to leave the house, the SDJM court asked the MP to pay a sum of Rs 30,000 on or before 10th of every month to her for her accommodation elsewhere. The court set two months’ deadline for Varsha to leave the house after receiving the first financial assistance.

The court observed the old parents and some other relatives of Anubhav are now staying away from their house owing to the ongoing marital discord between the couple.

A day after a Cuttack court directed Varsha Priyadarshini to vacate the parental home of Anubhav Mohanty, the latter paid Rs 30,000 to the former for arranging alternative accommodation without delay.

The SDJM court’s order did not go down well with Varsha who later moved Cuttack District Judge Court which ordered an interim stay on SDJM Court’s order. However, the case closed after Varsha voluntarily informed the District Judge Court to vacate her in-laws’ house through a memo.

It may be recalled that, Anubhav and Varsha, who took their reel life love story forward and tied the knot in 2014, had been fighting the legal battle for divorce.
