Discussing the superfoods in the Indian diet, Luke Coutinho today at the NXT Conclave stressed the importance of superfoods like Amla, Indian garam masala, Moringa, Turmeric, and Makhana. He not only stressed the importance of eating home-cooked food but also emphasised that even men should take up cooking at home.
He even asked the Indians to focus on eating Amla, which is an Indian berry instead of choosing foreign berries like blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries.
The Modi Diet or the lifestyle plan includes 7 steps. The first is including a wide variety of millets in the diet followed by eating seasonal and local produce in more amounts. This particular diet also stresses including the traditional Sattu, homemade white butter, ghee, and turmeric in the regular diet.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the man behind starting Yoga Day globally and hence it is very much expected that his lifestyle plan must include Yoga. Importantly, The Modi Diet recommends Yoga both for physical and emotional wellness.
