The Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has finally published the results of the written examination for recruitment to the district cadre posts of Revenue Inspector (RI)-2021.
As many as 1953 candidates have cleared the written test conducted on August 29 this year and provisionally selected for the skill test.
“The provisional results of the written test held on 29.08.2021 have been published in the Commission's website www.OSSSC.gov.in. The roll numbers of the candidates who have provisionally qualified in the written test (@ 3 times of the vacancies advertised) for appearing the Skill Test in Computer Application (Practical) is published at Annexure-I,” the Commission said in a notification issued today.

The Commission has already announced the date of the skill test of the shortlisted candidates. The skill test in Computer Application (Practical) will be conducted on November 8, 2021 (Monday) in all districts.
“Candidates have to download admission letter for the Skill Test from the website of the Commission www.osssc.gov.in with effect from November 11, 2021 by using their User ID and password to appear in the aforesaid Skill Test. No hardcopy of Admission Letter will be sent to any candidate by post,” the OSSSC informed.
Notably, a total of 586 vacancies will be filled up through the recruitment drive under the District Cadre Posts in various district establishments under the Revenue and Disaster Management Department.
The posts will be initially on contractual basis on consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs 16,880. The conditions of service and tenure of contractual appointment to the post will be regulated by the Odisha Group-B Posts (Contractual Appointment) Rules, 2013 as amended up to date.
