The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) on Saturday announced postponement and rescheduling of several important recruitment examinations slated to be held in August.
In its latest notification, the commission said the main written examinations for the posts of Staff Nurse, ANM, Pharmacist, X-Ray Technician, ECG Technician and Assistant Training Officer have been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances. The examinations were scheduled to be held on August 17 and 27 respectively.
“It is informed to all concerned that the Main written examination for the post of Staff Nurse, ANM, Pharmacist, X-Ray Technician, ECG Technician-2019(Advt. No. 4748/OSSC dated 31.12.2019) and for the post of Assistant Training Officer-2016(Advt. No. 4178/OSSC dated 24.12.2021) scheduled to be held on 17.08.2021 & 27.08.2021 respectively are hereby postponed due to unavoidable circumstances until further order,” the notification read.

Similarly, the main written examination for the post of Assistant Fodder Development Officer-2015 (Advt. No. 4052/OSSC dated 29.08.2015) which was scheduled on August 18 has now been re-scheduled to August 31, 2021.
The OSSC had issued an advertisement for combined recruitment for 34 posts of Staff Nurse, 18 posts of Pharmacist, 1 post of X-Ray Technician, 1 post of ECG Technician and five posts of ANM under the Directorate of Employees State Insurance Scheme on Contractual Basis.
Online applications were invited for the posts through the official website of the Commission www.ossc.gov.in from August 8 to September 7, 2020.
