The Border Security Force (BSF), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has invited online application from interested and eligible candidates, both male and female, for the posts of Constable (General Duty) in Group ‘C’.
The registration for the recruitment will commence on August 9, 2021 while the last date for submission of the online application is September 22, 2021.
Candidates can apply for the vacancies through the official website of BSF - rectt.bsf.gov.in.

Pay Scale And Other Allowances:
Constable(General Duty) Under Sports Quota: Level – 3, Rs 21,700-Rs 69,100 and other allowances admissible to Central Government employee from time to time under the rule.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: 18 to 23 years as on 01 Aug 2021 (Relaxation as per the prevalent Recruitment Rules)
Educational qualification: Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognised board.
Physical Standard
I. Height: Male =170 Cms and Female = 157 Cms
II. Chest( For male only) : 80 Cms (unexpended). Min expansion- 05 Cms
III. Weight : Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards for male and female candidates.
Selecting Process
Online application forms and copy of certificate uploaded by the candidates will be scrutinised and if found in order, the respective candidates will be issued online admit cards to appear in the recruitment process. Candidate will have to undergo the following process of recruitment :
(i) Checking of Testimonials/documents
(ii) Measurement of Physical Standard (PST)
(iii) Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
How to Apply For BSF GD Constable Recruitment 2021
- Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from August 9, 2021 (00.01 am) to September 22, 2021 (11:59) by logging onto the official website of BSF – bsf.gov.in.
- Candidate are advised to fill the application form after reading the instructions carefully. The application must be submitted ONLINE only. No application will be accepted offline. Candidature of the candidate who submitted application offline will be rejected summarily.
- Candidates have to upload required copy of certificate or document for sports discipline mentioned in the notification on BSF Recruitment Website in support of their highest medal/position or highest level of participation in the sports achievement.
