The Food Corporation of India (FCI) has published a notification regarding postponement of the Physical Endurance Test (PET) to be conducted for recruitment of watchmen.

The PET for 380 posts of watchman in FCI Haryana Region was scheduled to be held from today September 22 to September 24, 2022 in Panchkula, Haryana.

However, the corporation said that PET has been postponed after the athletic track and dug up area (for long jump) of the stadium became wet and slippery following rains.

“As per the earlier notifications the Physical Endurance Test (PET) for the post of watchman in FCI Haryana Region, was scheduled to be held w.e.f. 22nd to 24th of September, 2022 in Panchkula, Haryana. However, due to unexpected rains, the athletic track and dug up area (for long jump) of the stadium has become wet and slippery. On further inspection by authorities, it has been found to be unfit for holding the PET as it could be dangerous for the candidates and might cause injury,” a notice issued by FCI read.

“Keeping in mind the above fact and imminent forecast of bad weather, it has been decided to postpone the said PET. The PET will however be rescheduled very shortly. In view of the above, it is advised to keep a check on the official website for future updates in this regard,” the notice added.
