OSSSC releases notice for final physical test for the post of excise constable

The Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has released an important notice for the third and final round physical test for the post of excise constable under the Combined Recruitment Examination 2021 for Group C posts.

As per the OSSSC notice, the final round physical test comprising physical standard measurement (PSM) and physical efficiency test (PET) for the excise constable post will be held on September 27, 2022 in all districts.

In Khordha district, it will be conducted on September 27 and 28.

It is pertinent to mention here that the final round physical test is being conducted as the number of candidates qualified in the physical test conducted earlier is not sufficient to fill up the vacancies for the post of excise constable.

“The Commission has been pleased to conduct the third round of physical test for the post of excise constable to meet the shortfall of qualified candidates to fill up the vacancies after shortlisting candidates from among the candidates placed in the next provisional master merit list of CRE 2021 on the basis of willingness filed by the candidates online,” the OSSSC notice read.

The list of candidates shortlisted for the third round physical test prepared in order of merit is published as third screening list in the web portal.
