The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DSE), Odisha on Thursday announced the date of the upcoming document verification for the recruitment of contractual Hindi and Physical Education Teachers (PETs). 

As per the notification of the DSE, the document verification of candidates who have qualified in the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted from October 30, 2021, onwards. The CBT for the recruitment drive was held on October 4 and 5, 2021. 

“It is for information of candidates who have qualified in the Computer Based Test held on 04.10.2021 and 05.10.2021 for recruitment of Contractual Hindi, and Physical Education Teachers that verification of documents of shortlisted candidates shall be conducted from 30.10.2021 onwards,” the DSE notice stated.  

“The detailed programme will be notified on October 29, 2021,” it said adding, programme for verification of documents of candidates for the Post of Sanskrit Teacher will be notified after finalisation of result of CBT.  

The DSE has already released the scorecard of the CBT for the posts of PET and Hindi teacher. Candidates, who have appeared for the CBT, can check their scorecard by clicking on the links available in the ‘Recruitment for contractual Hindi teacher, Sanskrit teacher and physical education teacher 2021’ section. 

Altogether, 4619 teacher posts will be filled up through the recruitment drive in government Secondary schools across the State.

The selection of candidates will be held on the basis of their performance in the Computer Based Competitive Examination.
