The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) on Monday announced the extension of the deadline for submission of applications for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Recruitment Examination 2022.

As per the revised schedule, the timeline for submission of the application, which was to end tomorrow, has been extended by two more days. Hence, the aspirants can now complete their application process before December 15, 2022.

On Saturday, OSSC had also announced the extension of the deadline for submission of applications for the Combined Technical Services (CTS) Recruitment Examination. It is pertinent to mention here that the number of vacancies under the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Recruitment Examination 2022 has been increased by the OSSC.

Initially, a total of 943 Group B and C vacancies were notified and subsequently, 324 more vacancies including 56 Group B and 268 Group C posts were added. With the new addition, the total number of vacancies had reached 1267 which includes 755 Group B and 512 Group C posts.

The Odisha government in October decided to conduct the Combined Graduate Level Recruitment (CGL) Examination instead of multiple examinations conducted by Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC). The move is aimed at saving the time of applicants and streamlining the recruitment processes.
