Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) will soon come up with the recruitment notification for Common Graduate Level Recruitment Exam (CGLRE) 2022.

Informing the same, OSSC Chairman and Retired IPS officer Abhay informed that the number of vacancies will be substantially higher.

"#OSSC will soon come up with Advt inviting applications for the Common Graduate Level Recruitment Exam (CGLRE)2022. Vacancies will be substantially higher...," tweeted the former Odisha DGP.

He further said that the plan and pattern of the exam will be somewhat different and the Commission will share the details of the CGLRE 2022 in a few days.

The Odisha government had earlier decided to conduct the Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination instead of multiple examinations conducted by OSSC to save time of applicants and streamline the recruitment processes.

This was one of the key proposals that got the Odisha Cabinet nod on September 30. "#OdishaCabinet led by CM @Naveen_Odisha has approved Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination instead of multiple exams for Group-B & Group-C of State Cadre Posts or Service Rules, 2022. It will streamline recruitment process & complete exams in a reasonable time period," Odisha CMO had tweeted earlier.

Retweeting the above, the OSSC chairman had said, "We whole heartedly welcome this step. This will benefit the candidates immensely for they will have to write one exam in place of many .This will make the recruitment faster, more efficient and more economical."

“...proposed to frame the Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination for Group-B and Group-C of different State Cadre Posts or Services Rules, 2022 which shall have overriding effect on all the Recruitment Rules or Regulations or Orders or Instructions issued by Administrative Department/Heads of Departments so far as regulating the process of recruitment to the posts and services under the State Government,” read an official statement.
