Yash19 confirmed! Yash teams up with Geethu Mohandas for ‘gangster film’

The buzz around Rocking Star Yash ’s upcoming, tentatively titled Yash 19, is quite a lot recently. Though it is confirmed that Yash will have another movie before the most anticipated KGF Chapter 3 , there has been no official announcement about Yash19. 

However, it seems, Yash19 is confirmed and the Rocking Star has teamed up with National Award-Winning director Geethu Mohandas. The Malayalam director is all set for her upcoming in a gangster genre. The female director herself dropped a big hint during an interview.

When asked about her upcoming and to drop a hint, Geethu said, “It’s a gangster film,” she chuckled and continued, “It’s in a gangster genre.”

Further, she added that she is hoping to do everything fast and start rolling soon. 

A few days earlier, reports were abuzz that Yash visited different locations in Sri Lanka and a few photos of the KGF fame surfaced on social media backing the claims. Meanwhile, a source close to the development ascertained that Yash and Geethu were discussing for collaboration for the past one year. Yash was impressed with the concept and finalized the script. 

All earlier speculations and reports related to Yash19 proved to be baseless. And, there is no official confirmation backing the Yash-Geethu collaboration yet. However, fans have started celebrations with a buzz. 

If certain reports are anything to go by, Yash19 will expectedly go on floors in June with a target of releasing in late 2024. Well, fans need to wait for an official announcement for the same. Undoubtedly, expectations are high from Yash after the monstrous success of KGF Chapter 2. And the reports of Yash-Geethu's collaboration have filled excitement among all.
