More than a decade ago when Salman Khan was at the peak of his career with the release of some superhits like Dabangg, Tiger Zinda Hai and Sultan the Bollywood superstar shared the need to stay grounded amid adulation during a press event.

He was talking with his fans during an event when a fan said, “We love you Salman.” In reply, the Tubelight actor said, “This is very good. Yeh sab bahut accha hai. The respect bahot accha hai. Par yeh bahot saare logon ki zindagiyan barbaad kar sakta hai agar yeh aapne soch liya ki yeh janewala nahi, mitnewala nahi hai.”

Salman Khan then added, “Jab yeh nahi rahega toh bahot takleef hogi. Toh woh takleef zhelna isse Inshallah bahot time tak nahi dekhunga lekin jiss din dekhna pada tohh usse bhi dekh lenge.”

While the Bajrangi Bhaijan actor continues to be a big superstar even today, he cannot take his audience and fans for granted now as they are more interested in watching him in good movies and are now ready to say goodbye to trash content even if it is their darling Salman leading the show.
