Shah Rukh Khan’s dedication to work is exemplary. His enthusiasm and determination have inspired many even veterans like Rishi Kapoor who were surprised to see the amount of hard work that the superstar has been putting in to enact a character with perfection on the screen. But can a man live without water for two days? It is possible to live without solid food for a couple of days but it is impossible to survive even for a few hours without water.

But Shah Rukh Khan remained without water for two days when he was shooting for the hit song “Dard E-Disco” from his superhit film “Om Shanti Om.” Revealing details about the song choreographer and director of the movie Farah Khan said that she wanted SRK to have a bare body shot in Main Hoon Na but since Shah Rukh was suffering from a back injury and had to undergo surgery it could not be done.

So during the making of Om Shanti Om, the Bollywood superstar promised that this time he would remove the shirt. He started training heavily to get a hot body and did not even drink water for two days as it could cause him bloating. Farah said that Shah Rukh Khan was cramping badly during the shooting of this song and could not even dance properly but still managed to complete the shoot perfectly well.

While that was more than a decade ago, even today the dedication of SRK towards his craft remains the same. Narrating an incident of shooting a Chaleya song from Jawan, Farah Khan who choreographed it said that even after being in business for 32 years he still wanted to rehearse the song.

The Happy New Year director even asked him, “What is the matter with you? Are you crazy?” Shah Rukh replied that if rehearsed he would be able to dance better. That speaks volumes of his work ethic and how hard he works despite being the biggest Bollywood superstar for more than three decades now.
