The dashing Zayed Khan recently recalled how choreographer-director Farah Khan allegedly abused him and threw chappal at him during the shoot of Main Hoon Na also starring superstar Shah Rukh Khan and the gorgeous Sushmita Sen and Amrita Rao.

Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Zayed recalled the incident and said, “This was a time when we were shooting on 400 feet and not on digital. So it was not like ‘jitne bhi takes chahiye, le lo. There was a discipline on set. Also we were on high altitude. After giving one take, halat kharab ho jati thi.”

“I remember during the shoot, the camera captured Amrita Rao and was coming towards me. Everyone around me was like be ready, be ready, be ready. The dancers had done it too many times.”

“Anyway the camera panned towards me and one of the dancers next to me fell down. He got a fit as she was so exhausted. I didn’t know what to do. I started performing but then I realized I’d have to dance over this chap. So, I said cut.”
“And Farah got so angry. She abused the hell out of me and also threw chappal at me. I told her how do you expect me to dance over somebody who is dying. She thundered and said you can’t say cut on my bl**dy set. I’ll say cut.”

“Finally, the unit members realised that the poor guy is lying down and he was rescued. Then we did it again and it went on very smoothly,” Zayed added.

Known for films like Main Hoon Na, Shabd and Dus, Zayed made his acting debut with the 2003 film ‘Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne.’

On the other hand, Main Hoon Na was written and directed by Farah in her directorial debut and also featured superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
