Samantha Ruth Prabhu is a big Tollywood star who has worked in many hit movies. Currently, she is doing movies in Bollywood and Hollywood apart from working in the Southern film industry. A few years ago when she appeared on a dance reality show as a celeb guest Samantha was mesmerised by a 16-year-old young dancer who at that time had all her thoughts focussed on studying medicine.
It was none other than the current star of South Indian movies-Sai Pallavi. Although Sai is not a trained dancer, she performed very gracefully to one of the songs composed by AR Rahman from the Telugu version of the movie Bombay.
Appreciating the young talent, the Kushi actress said, “I could not take my eyes off you. Only after seeing that step, I saw how good you are. But while the performance was happening I could not take my eyes off you Sai. You were like a swan. You were so graceful. I wish all of us could have that grace and poise. You were amazing.”
In the last few years since then, a lot has happened. Samantha Ruth Prabhu has become one of the saleable actors of South India while Sai Pallavi has worked in some of the biggest Southern blockbusters. Incidentally, she will be next seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious project Ramayana in which she is playing the character of Sita. The South Indian actress is paired opposite Ranbir Kapoor who will portray Lord Ram.

Other big stars have been reportedly roped in to play some major roles like Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman and KGF’s Yash as Ravan. In the last few years, a lot of content has come out based on Lord Rama. Be it cartoons, serials, animes, and films like Adipurush, Ramayana has been an inspiration behind them. It will be interesting to see how the Ramayana of the Dangal director comes out and if it gets a very good response considering it has Ranbir Kapoor in the lead then it will surely help Sai Pallabi to get good offers from Bollywood.
Reportedly, she is already playing the female lead in Junaid Khan's (son of Aamir Khan) Bollywood debut movie.
