Ramayana Buzz: Will Sunny Deol join Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi as Hanuman?

Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana has been making headlines for some time now. Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi have been confirmed as Lord Ram and Devi Sita whereas KGF fame Yash will be playing the role of Ravan. Now, there is a strong buzz that Sunny Deol will be joining Ranbir and Sai Pallavi as Hanuman for Ramayana.

According to the buzz, the makers have already approached the Gadar actor and are waiting for Sunny Deol to give his nod. Hanuman in Hindu mythology represents strength and at present there is no one other than Sunny Deol who can pull off the role of Bajrangbali convincingly.

After the massive success of Gadar 2, it has been proven once again that Sunny can deliver the goods if he is given the role and movie just right for him.

The good news is that Sunny Deol has shown interest in playing the character of Lord Hanuman and is excited to be a part of such a big project. Nevertheless, the discussions are still on and hence, it will be still early to say that Sunny Paji has been finalised for Ramayana as Hanuman.

One of the reasons why Sunny Deol may just say yes to this project is because Nitesh Tiwari along with his producer partners Madhu Mantena, Allu Aravind, and Namit Malhotra are also planning to come up with a standalone movie on Lord Hanuman with Sunny Deol playing the lead role.

If the deal ever comes off it will be one of the biggest for Sunny Deol who has been struggling to gain his foothold once again in Bollywood for the last more than a decade.

Reportedly, Nitesh believes that Ramayana is just a small part of Hanuman’s life and there are many other facets to his story that he wants to explore by doing a standalone movie on Bajrangabali.
