Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji are best of the buddies. But there have been moments when the Sanju actor has really hated his dear friend. It was during the shooting of their very famous movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani that Ranbir was quite frustrated with Ayan as well as with the famous choreographer Remo D’Souza.
It so happened that the team was shooting the popular song “Balam Pichkari Jo Tune Muzhe Mari.” Since it was a Holi song, the choreographer Remo and director Ayan created a set to match the look of the Holi celebration. From colored water, balloons, gulal everything was used to make the scene look realistic. But Ranbir Kapoor was quite upset because he had to get dirty for the scene and remain dirty for a long time until the shooting of the song was complete.
A BTS video clip shows the Bollywood superstar complaining about the color and hating both Ayan and Remo. He says, “No one is going to like doing this song. The whole day we have been in color feeling dirty. I hate Remo, I hate Pritam, and I hate everybody today. And no one is as bad as Ayan Mukerji.”
Although Ranbir Kapoor said that he hated the people around him during the shooting of this song, a moment in the clip reveals that he is enjoying playing colors and teasing others. Rather, it seems that it is Ayan Mukerji who is at the receiving end. Well, Ranbir might have hated doing this song but people simply loved it and today it is one of the few songs played during Holi along with the age-old popular numbers like Ranga Barse Bhige chunar wali and more.
Work-wise, the team of Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan are currently working on the first movie from the trilogy titled Brahmastra. The movie also stars Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead whereas Shah Rukh Khan and Nagarjuna will be making a guest appearance.
