Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn
Amitabh Bachchan is known for being very particular about his posts on social media. He even numbers his tweets on X which many of his fans find peculiar. But what is also known more about him is that he rarely uses his official account to speak on social issues or critical problems when they are a hot topic of discussion across various social media platforms or in the media.
That has always left many of his fans fuming who often call him out for his inaction in raising voice against wrong doings in and around the country. That is why years earlier when Amitabh Bachchan reacted to a wrong information from a leading media house related to Ajay Devgn many were surprised.
Around 2016, when Ajay Devgn- produced, acted and directed Shivaay was on the verge of release, promotions were at the top. At that time a leading media house known for publishing relevant and correct news regarding showbiz and celebrities made a social media post that said, “Interesting! This is the first time in 25 years that @ajaydevgn will kiss a co-star on screen.”
The headline was followed by, “Ooh! Ajay Devgn is all set to kiss on screen for the first time. And we cannot wait for Shivaay to release.” The post was accompanied by Ajay Devgn kissing his Shivaay co-star photo.

Amitabh Bachchan who usually do promote the movies of his colleagues or other stars from the film fraternity rarely comments on such promotional pieces. But this time around he quickly replied to this post and corrected the publication saying, “wrong…he kissed in ‘Satyagrah’ Prakash Jha film.”
Had it been anyone else the publication would have just ignored this comment. But it was made by none other than Big B and hence the comment was given due importance with the publication replying, “Thank you, sir! We’ll check it.”
Interestingly, Amitabh Bachchan was wrong as Shivaay was indeed the first movie where Ajay Devgn kissed onscreen.
While today it is quite normal for both actors and actresses to do a kissing scene, until a few years ago many big superstars refrained from doing so. Salman Khan to date has a no-kissing policy in his contract.
