While fans have been eagerly waiting to witness Yash's comeback on the big screen after KGF: Chapter 2, Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria and Huma Qureshi's inclusion has added to the excitement. A week ago, the makers announced the release date of Toxic sparking excitement among all. Now, the latest reports suggest that Yash has kicked off the final shooting schedule in Mumbai.
Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups' release date is locked for March 19, 2026. With less than a year to go, director Geethu Mohandas and Yash have already kickstarted the final leg of shooting in Mumbai.
A Mid-Day report states that the team has planned to shoot some high-octane action sequences over the next three days at the Afghan Church in Colaba.
A source revealed to the portal that only Yash will be shooting the action sequences as the leading ladies in the movie, Kiara and Nayanthara have finished their parts earlier.
The source further added that the team has procured the necessary permission from the local authorities and has blocked the lane to ensure that there is no disruption during filming.
The source said, "After the Colaba shoot, they will move to Madh Island to complete the last few scenes. With that, it will be a wrap on the principal photography."
The source also said that after the KGF franchise, Yash's next will arrive amid high expectations. Thus, director Geethu Mohandas wants to ensure that Toxic is on par with international action thrillers.
