On Monday, Tamil actor-comedian Yogi Babu shared a video clip on his verified Twitter handle and Sam retweeted the post by captioning it with red hearts. The clip was from 2017 movie 'Mersal' in which she is seen alongside star actor Thalapathy Vijay.

The Rangasthalam actress has shared screen space with Thalapathy Vijay in Theri, Kaththi and Mersal. The pair was widely adored by movie lovers and fans are also waiting to see more movies of the duo.
The clip from Mersal has fuelled discussions after the actress shared it on her Twitter handle.
What made the clip most hilarious was - Samantha was addressing Vijay as Tampi/ Thambi and the 'Master' actor referred to her as Akka which means brother (Tampi/ Thambi) and sister (Akka) in Tamil.
Vijay played a triple role in the movie alongside South beauties Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen and Samantha.
Now the clip has triggered hilarious comments from fans and movie lovers.
One user commented, " This happens when you meet a girl for first time and she instead of calling u as a friend she call you bro."
While another user noted, " this scene always cracks me up every time"
