  • Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's Tanuj Mahashabde recently opened up about the return of Munmun Dutta.
  • Tanuj aka Iyerbhai said that he will soon start shooting with Munmun aka Babitaji.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Babitaji aka Munmun Dutta has been away from the show for the last few months. Naturally, fans are very much eager to know why she is not a part of the current episodes as her character is a very prominent one in the hit comedy serial. More often, the scenes of Babitaji are with Dilip Joshi alias Jethalal or Tanuj Mahashabde alias Iyerbhai who plays Babita’s husband.

So, usually, whenever Iyerbhai’s character is in an episode, Babitaji is also present. But the last few months saw no presence of Munmun aka Babitaji which is why many believed that either she has taken a break from the show or has been dropped by the makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

Recently, during an interview, Tanuj cleared all the confusion regarding the return of Munmun Dutta. He said that he does not know what is triggering such rumors and that he will soon start shooting with Munmun. Tanuj went on to say that it is also not true that just because Munmun is not there his scenes have been removed.

According to the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s actor, whatever happened in the life of Munmun is her personal matter so it will not have any effect on the Bong beauty playing Babita.

It indicates that fans will soon get to see Babitaji in the upcoming episodes. It is indeed good news for TMKOC’s fans who are already missing Disha Vakani aka Dayaben in a big way.

The current track revolves around Mehtasaab and his boss as the latter compulsorily gives Mehta a leave of two days since Anjali Mehta is not well. Now, Mehtasaab is in dilemma about what he should tell his wife. Jethalal gives him an idea which Mehtasaab believes can work and is ready to give it a try. Now, it would be interesting to see whether the idea of Jethalal really works or whether Anjali Mehta or Mehta’s boss finds the truth.
