  • TMKOC's Disha Vakani aka Dayaben is showing no signs of returning to the show.
  • So which actress can replace her and convincingly pull off the character of Dayaben again?

Jethalal and Dayaben are the two most important characters of the hit comedy serial Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Without any doubt, Dilip Joshi and Disha Vakani respectively have played these two characters with great finesse which is why it is very difficult to replace either of them. While Dilip Joshi continues to entertain the audience as Jethalal in TMKOC, Disha Vakani has been away from the show for more than 3 years now.

Earlier reports of her making a comeback were going around but now there are speculations that the producers might think of replacing her as she does not seem to be interested in returning as Dayaben. Several actresses have been rumoured to be eager to take place of Disha Vakani on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

Pakhi aka Aishwarya Sharma From Ghum Hai Kisike Pyaar Mein

Aishwarya Sharma who portrays the character of Pakhi in Ghum Hai Kisike Pyaar Mein is known for posting reels posing as Dayaben. She seems to be in love with this character from TMKOC and fans have also started loving her reels. In GHKPM she is playing the role of a vamp and hence it may be difficult for the fans to see her as a loving, simple housewife Dayaben. But then Aishwarya seems to be a versatile actress and may just pull off the role convincingly.

Anjali Mehta aka Sunayna Fozdar

Sunanya Fozdar who replaced Neha Mehta as Anjali Mehta on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has also said that she would love to portray Dayaben as she has previously done a character like that in Belan Wali Bahu. She is already a part of TMKOC now, so will fans accept her as a new character in the same show?

Rutuja Junnarkar of India’s Best Dancer

This contestant on Sony’s India’s Best Dancer 1 stumped the entire TMKOC star cast including producer Asit Kumarr Modi with her impeccable portrayal of Dayaben during her performance. Asitji was so impressed with her act that he even said that he wants to take this Dayaben from the show. Even Dilip Josh was highly impressed and said that Rutuja enacted Dayaben with such perfection that all the nuances, her style of garba dancing and dialogue delivery of “Tappu Ke Papa” was done very convincingly.
