Shahid Kapoor spills beans on interesting 'Deva Ki Duniya,' Ashwatthama Watch

Shahid Kapoor has been trying different roles in all his movies. Be it an aggressive and volatile Kabir Singh or his first OTT character Sunny from Farzi, Sasha has been experimenting with different roles. His latest release Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya had the Bollywood superstar romancing a robot-Kriti Sanon on the screen-first of its kind in Bollywood.

And now he is gearing up for his upcoming movie Deva. Spilling beans on his role in the flick and the movie Shahid Kapoor said, “Deva half-way through ho chuki hai aur aur aadhi bachi hai. Aur ek interesting duniya hai Deva ki aur main usme abhi kafi immersed hoon. Iss saal hum film release karenge aur film mein mere saath Pooja Hegde hai aur bahot saare acche actors hai.”

The Padmaavat actor added, “Rosshan Andrews ek Malayalam director hai jo kayi saloon se bahot acchi Malayalam film bana rahe hai. Toh woh iss film ko direct kar rahe hai. Aur uss duniya ko woh sabse accha smazhte hai. Bombay ki underbelly ki world hai Deva ki. Aur action hai aur thoda massey character bhi hai lekin ek thrill bhi hai film ke andar. Toh kafi sari chizhe hai. Jab film ke promos ayenge toh aapko pata chalega.”

Talking about his recently announced Netflix release Ashwatthama, Shahid said that it has been just announced and it is too early to say anything on that. Speaking on the different types of roles he is currently playing, Shahid Kapoor said, “Accha hai thode alag alag role karne chahiye. Nahi toh phir audience bolti hai yaar yeh actor toh same wohi karta rahta hai. Toh main khud bore ho jata hoon. Har film mein kuch alag karne ki koshis kar raha hoon. Intense character bhi, romantic character bhi aur agar koi acchi comedy film milegi toh I would love to do that as well.”
