Shah Rukh Khan's rivals mocked him 'hakla' behind his back, were jealous of...
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's superstardom and the heights of success are currently unmatched. It was definitely a tough journey for an outsider like SRK to achieve such great heights. It was his dedication and acting proficiency that made way for him. Of course, storyline, direction, lyrics and songs played a vital role in making him a superstar. Top singers including Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, Abhijeet Bhattacharya and Sonu Nigam became his 'voice' in numerous films. Above all, Abhjieet's significant contribution to SRK's on-screen musical presence and shaping his stardom can't be ignored.
A couple of days ago, playback singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya hogged the limelight after he reacted to a fan-made mashup of Dua Lipa's song 'Levitating' SRK's blockbuster track 'Woh Ladki Jo' from Baadshah. Reacting to it, Abhijeet said that a song belongs to the singer first, so he must be named and not the actor.
OMG Dua Lipa actually performed on Levitating and Shah Rukh Khan’s kadam kadam pe lakho haseena mashup at her Bandra Mumbai concert 😭♥️💃🔥 #DuaLipa

Recently, during a podcast on Subhankar Mishra's YouTube channel, Abhijeet opened up about his decade-long work relationship with SRK.
During the podcast, the singer revealed how he was disappointed with a slew of songs in the 90s and also declined a number of songs as he didn't like the composition.
“I had become choosy, and I became a little too mindful on this and decided that I will not sing for anyone else but Shah Rukh," Abhijeet said.
Further, he added, "That became a problem because many of his contemporaries called him ‘hakla’ (stammerer). So what happened was, there was an award ceremony in Dubai where I had won an award for Tumhe Jo Maine Dekha.”
Recalling the incident, Abhjieet said, "When I was getting down from the stage, there was one star who came forward and said, 'Aye! hakle ke liye gaa raha hai na tu (You are singing for that stammerer)?’ Two people said this together. I was shocked! I was like why are they feeling jealous, I got the award for my singing. After that experience, I kept losing interest in the playback singing and started focusing on my shows and concerts."
The singer revealed that he is content doing concerts and focusing on his shows even today.
Notably, the pair of Abhjieet-Shah Rukh has delivered numerous blockbuster tracks including Zara Sa Jhoom Loon Mein (Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayege), Badi Muskil (Anjaam), Chaand Taare (Yes Boss), Tauba Tumhare Ishare and Suno Na Suno Na (Chalte Chalte), Tumhe Jo Maine Dekha (Main Hoon Na) and many more.
Well, fans would definitely love the reunion of the duo. But, they can just hope for the same as the decision entirely depends on Shah Rukh and Abhijeet.
