Man Spotted and Arrested on May 20

According to CNN-News18, the first breach occurred on Tuesday, May 20, when a man identified as Jitendra Kumar Singh, 23, from Chhattisgarh, was first seen loitering outside Galaxy Apartments around 9:45 am.

When questioned by security personnel deployed for Salman Khan, Singh became agitated and threw his mobile phone on the ground, smashing it. Despite being told to leave, Singh returned later that evening around 7:15 pm and entered the building by sneaking in with a car belonging to another resident.

This time, he was immediately apprehended by the police, who handed him over to the Bandra police station. During questioning, Singh confessed that he was trying to meet the actor and had tried to hide from the guards. A case was filed, and he remains in police custody.

Woman Also Caught

Notably, on Monday, May 19, a woman also tried to enter Galaxy Apartments. She was promptly stopped and detained by the Mumbai police. Details regarding her identity and motive are still awaited.

These two incidents in quick succession have reignited concerns about Salman Khan’s safety, especially given his history of threats from organized crime syndicates.

Background: Previous Firing Incident and Gang Threats

In April 2024, gunshots were fired outside Galaxy Apartments, allegedly by members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Following the shooting, Anmol Bishnoi, Lawrence’s brother, claimed responsibility via a Facebook post.

As a result of the threat, Khan’s security was upgraded to Y+ level, which includes armed commandos and escort vehicles.
