Salman Khan to team up with Kabir Khan again but not for Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2!
The buzz around Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 has gotten louder for a couple of months now. The recent revelations made by eminent writer V Vijayendra Prasad about the meeting with Salman Khan for discussing the possibility of a sequel to 2019's Bajrangi Bhaijaan has triggered excitement among all. While filmmaker Kabir Khan has already cleared his stance of not being in favour of making a sequel, a recent report suggests that after wrapping the war drama based on the 2020 Galwan Valley Conflict, Salman will likely team up with the Bajrangi Bhaijaan director.
According to a recent exclusive report by Pinkvilla, Salman is gearing up for his next war drama based on the 2020 Galwan Valley Conflict, with Apoorva Lakhia. Salman is gearing up to go on the floors in July 2025, and the shooting will be done in Ladakh and Mumbai for over 70 days.
Further, the report suggests that after wrapping the yet-to-be-titled war drama, Salman will likely start working on the film with Kabir Khan. But, it is not Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2.
A source close to the development revealed to the entertainment portal that after the war drama, Salman will likely work with Kabir Khan.
The source was quoted as saying, "Kabir Khan is against sequels, and doesn’t want to touch a classic like Bajrangi Bhaijaan. While he heard the idea cracked by Vijayendra Prasad, he isn’t too keen on making Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. He has pitched an original larger-than-life drama to Salman, and the actor is considering that as a follow-up to Apoorva Lakhia, but nothing is confirmed at the moment."
Further, the source also revealed that Salman's project with Kabir may take off in November.
However, fans have to wait for an official announcement regarding the development. Meanwhile, if the report is anything to go by, Salman's project with Sanjay Dutt, titled Gangaram, will be likely pushed further.
