"Mere Bete Aayenge, Mere Karan Arjun Ayenga..." is accorded as one of the most sentimental dialogues that expresses the emotions of a mother who is hopeful and eagerly waiting for his dead sons’ return. 1995's Karan Arjun starring Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan went on to become one of the greatest hits of all time.

The movie helmed by Rakesh Roshan, which also starred Kajol and Mamta Kulkarni, Amrish Puri and Rakhee Gulzar in important roles, was a true-blue Blockbuster at the box office and had set several benchmarks in the Hindi cine industry. Obviously, one of the reasons certainly was the first-time onscreen pairing of Salu and SRK.

Karan Arjun recently completed 27 years and the movie still holds importance in the lives of both the lead actors. While the movie remains the 4th biggest hit of Salman, it remains the 3rd biggest blockbuster of SRK.

Though the duo has shared screens multiple times, either of the actors was seen in cameo or special appearances in each others' movies, except for 'Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam'. Fans of the actors celebrate whenever the actors have come together. Meanwhile, fans are quite eager to see them onscreen once again in the lead.

If you are one of such admirers, here's something good for you:

Salman is prepping up for Tiger 3 while Shah is readying for Pathaan, both produced under the Yash Raj Films banner. Speculations are rife that the duo will make special appearances in each others' movies with their onscreen characters as the production house has plans of creating a spy universe.

A recent buzz in the industry suggests that both the actors will team up soon for the biggest film in Indian cinema.

As per a report of PinkVilla, Aditya Chopra has plans to take things to the next level by bringing the two action heroes on board as the lead characters. If the reports are anything to go by, the duo will team up for a film with similar character weightage.

While Salman will be locking horns with Emraan Hashmi in Tiger 3, which also stars Katrina Kaif in the lead, John Abraham will be playing the antagonist in SRK and Deepika Padukone starrer Pathaan. Though both the movies are slated to release in 2023, excitement among fans is skyrocketing with each passing day.

On the other hand, if the latest buzz is to be believed, this movie will certainly drive the fans crazy. And, as they say, the movie will become the biggest film in the Indian cinema and script history setting several benchmarks.
