Samantha Ruth Prabhu's hot single “Oo Antava” has found a new fan in Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.
In a video, which has now gone viral, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan can be seen naming the 'Oo Antava' song from Allu Arjun's blockbuster movie Pushpa: The Rise as the single that has ‘inspired’ him.
The video is from the red carpet of IIFA 2022 where the host asked Salman if there is a film or song from the past year which inspired him in any way. As soon as the question finished, Salman began crooning Pushpa’s popular number Oo Antava, gave a smile and moved forward.
The video was widely shared on the internet by fans and even caught the eye of Samantha who was also thrilled by Salman Khan's shout-out to her song.
She retweeted the video from her verified handle by adding a bunch of heart emojis as the text.

The song's composer Devi Sri Prasad also thanked Salman Khan for his appreciation and shared the video with the caption,"Thaank You Dear Salman Bhaaaii."

Salman isn’t the first celebrity to be highly impressed by the number. Earlier B-Town stars like Madhuri Dixit, Ranveer Singh, Sanya Malhotra, Neha Kakkar had also praised the song and shared their own version of the song on social media.
Notably, 'Oo Antava' marked Samantha's first dance number in a film. Soon after, Sam's song was released it started trending.
Sharing a still from the song, Samantha wrote, “I played good , I played bad, I was funny , I was serious, I was a chat show host too.. I work really hard to excel at everything that I take up …but being sexy is next level hard work….phew. #ooantavaooooantava Thankyou for the love.”
