Salman Khan is being cautious when it comes to signing any new movie after the massive debacle of Sikandar. This highly ambitious movie directed by AR Murugadoss was expected to give a new life to the dwindling stardom of the Bollywood superstar.

However, despite having a renowned director and a happening female lead like Rashmika Mandanna , Sikandar turned out to be one of the biggest flops of the last few years. This enraged fans of Bhaijaan, who always flock to theaters, regardless of whether the movie is good or not, if Salman Khan is a part of it.

Salman Khan’s pairing with Chitrangda has made fans happy

The good news is that Salman Khan will now share the screen with Chitrangda Singh in his upcoming movie with Apoorva Lakhia. The big-budget movie is supposed to be inspired by the real-life military events. Interestingly, it will be the first time that Salman Khan is paired opposite Chitrangda. While the details about the movie have been kept under wraps, fans are happy that Salman Khan is being paired with a co-star who is closer to his age.

Earlier he was paired opposite very young actresses like Rashmika Mandanna, Pooja Hegde, and Disha Patani who are 30 years or younger than him. These actresses are almost the age of Salman’s nieces and nephews and hence fans were quite unhappy with Salman Khan being paired with such younger heroines.

Now that Chitrangda has been roped in for the Apoorva Lakhia movie, fans are super excited.

Fans had requested Salman Khan to make changes in his approach

It should be noted that when Sikandar did not work at the box office the die-hard fans of Salman Khan personally went and met the superstar and requested him to make a few changes while choosing his next projects.

And one of the suggestions was to choose age-appropriate roles and co-stars. Another one was selecting the right director. The Tiger 3 actor seems to have ticked both these boxes. Apoorva Lakhia is known for directing some out-of-the-box movies like Haseena Parker and Shootout at Lokhandwala and hence fans are expecting an entirely different presentation of their favourite superstar in this project.
