Sushant Singh Rajput, Ratan Tata

Legendary industrialist Ratan Tata passed away last week. Apart from being a smart businessman, the former head of Tata Industries was more known for his charity, compassion, and contribution to society. Now Zee Entertainment has proposed that a biopic should be made on the life of Ratan Tata. The major concern will be hunting down the perfect actor to nail this iconic personality on the screen.

Importantly, a young Ratan Tata was quite handsome and sophisticated whereas the older one spoke articulately but slowly. Since a biopic will have to cover all stages of his life including childhood, youth, middle age, and old age, the hunt will be for an actor who can ace all these stages or they might hire different actors for different stages.

So who from the current lot will be ideal to play Ratan Tata? This hot discussion is going on the web after Zee announced its intentions to do a biopic. While different names have come up during online discussions on social media platforms among users, the one prominent name that kept on coming is that of Sushant Singh Rajput .

He is known for nailing the character of MS Dhoni in the biopic of the former Indian captain and fans still can’t forget the remarkable acting of SSR in this movie. That is why many social media users think that Sushant would have been perfect to portray Ratan Tata. Alas! he is no more. But since people still feel that he could have been good for this role indicates the faith they continue to have in the talent of Sushant Singh Rajput.

Other names that have come up during discussions are Jim Sarbh and Abhay Verma. Surprisingly, very few have suggested the names of big stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Ranveer Singh. Of course, Sidharth Malhotra is a hot favourite among a few since he aptly suits the charming, young Ratan Tata who was also very handsome.
