Bollywood Superstar Ranbir Kapoor and Kannada Film Industry's Rocking Star Yash are set for an epic cinematic battle in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana. While fans have been waiting to witness the on-screen battle of Lord Ram (Ranbir) and Demon King Ravana (Yash) in the cinematic adaptation of the Indian epic, around a month back reports claimed that Ranbir and Yash are set for a box office clash as 'Love & War' and Toxic's release dates collided. However, now it seems the box office clash might not happen.

Yash's upcoming action thriller Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown-ups is slated for release on March 19, 2026. On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for his upcoming grand period drama 'Love & War' with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. According to earlier reports, the makers were eyeing for release on March 20, 2026, just a day after Toxic's release.

Well, soon after the official announcement of Toxic's release, reports were abuzz about the box office clash between Ranbir and Yash, much before their epic on-screen battle in Ramayana.

However, the latest reports suggest that the box office clash between Ranbir Kapoor and Yash has been averted.

According to the latest report by The Hollywood Reporter India, there might be a change in Love & War's release date. Reportedly, Sanjay Leela Bhansali might not be ready for Love & War's grand release on March 20, 2026.

The report quoted a close source to the development as saying, "The current shooting timeline of Love & War involves a mega war sequence, which Bhansali will mount on a huge scale. But that will only be shot in November."

Further, the source also revealed that after the epic war sequence between Ranbir and Vicky is filmed, the team aims to wrap up by January 26.

"It will be impossible for Love & War to finish post-production and come on the big screen two months later in March. So the film might get pushed," the source added.

If the latest report is anything to go by, this will be the film's second delay as the release date was earlier postponed from Christmas 2025 to March 20, 2026.
