Ramayana: Yash gearing up to lock horns with Kunal Kapoor? Check details
Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana is one of the highly-anticipated movies. According to earlier reports, Ranbir Kapoor, who is essaying Lord Ram's role, has wrapped up a major portion of the first instalment of the cinematic adaptation of the Indian epic. Meanwhile, recent reports claim that Sai Pallavi has been shooting some major sequences as Devi Sita and Yash is all set to begin filming as Demon King Ravana. While fans have been eagerly waiting for the updates, recent reports claim that the KGF star will be filming a high-octane action sequence with Kunal Kapoor.
According to a report by ETimes, Yash will be seen locking horns with Kunal Kapoor in a high-octane action sequence.
Reportedly, the sequence will feature the high-octane battle between Lord Indra and Ravana after the latter achieves unmatched power through intense meditation and launches a bold campaign to conquer the heavens, earth, and underworld. The sequence will showcase his rise as he overthrows divine forces in his quest for supremacy.
Reportedly, the action sequence will be a grand one with massive sets, cutting-edge visual effects along intricate stunt work.
If the reports are anything to go by, Kunal will be seen in a completely different role, locking horns with Yash in the intense face-off.
Notably, the intense battle between Lord Indra and Ravana is described in Ramayana. It is explicitly mentioned in Chapter 28 of the Uttara Kanda of the Valmiki Ramayana. In the battle between the Devas and Ravana, the King of Heavens captured Ravana. Following that, to rescue his father, Meghanada also called Indrajit captured Indra and took him as a prisoner to Lanka and kept him in captivity for years.
