Ramayana update: Sai Pallavi shooting THIS major sequence!
Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana has remained one of the highly-anticipated movies. Excitement among fans is elevating with each passing day to watch Ranbir Kapoor, Sunny Deol, Yash and Sai Pallavi as Lord Ram, Lord Hanuman, Demon King Ravana and Goddess Sita, respectively. While the makers haven't yet disclosed the cast and made an official announcement, fans have been eagerly waiting for updates on the cinematic adaptation of the Indian epic. According to earlier reports, Tiwari has already shot a major portion with Ranbir and Sai. Well, the latest report suggests Sai Pallavi is currently filming a major sequence.
Nitesh Tiwari has been quietly shooting for his ambitious project Ramayana. According to the latest reports, Tiwari is currently filming the emotionally intense Ashoka Vatika sequence.
Notably, after the abduction, Ravana kept Sita in captivity in Ashoka Vatika. Despite being surrounded by luxuries and temptations, Sita remained steadfast in her devotion to her husband Ram and refused Ravana's advances. While Sita awaited rescue, Lord Hanuman visited Lanka and met her in Ashok Vatika. He delivered a ring as a symbol of hope. Later, he set fire to Lanka showcasing his unwavering devotion to Lord Ram and Sita. This also served as a direct consequence of Ravana's actions, serving as a warning of the consequences of his wickedness.
During a recent interview, Sunny Deol revealed that he is yet to commence filming his part as Lord Hanuman.
"Yes, I'm a part of the film. But, I haven't started filming yet."
However, he didn't divulge anything further. Hopefully, Sunny will soon go on the floors.
According to a report by Times of India, Yash was recently in Mumbai for a brief schedule of Ramayana. Following that he shot for his upcoming project Toxic. Reportedly, Yash is balancing both high-profile projects simultaneously. However, there is no official confirmation from the makers.
