Yash begins shoot for Ramayana: Reports
Kannada Film Industry's (KFI) Rocking Star Yash has finally begun the shooting for his part in the highly-anticipated movie Ramayana. According to the latest reports, Yash, who will be essaying the role of Demon King Ravana, has reportedly headed to the film sets in Mumbai to commence his schedule.
Reportedly, after wrapping up his last schedule for his upcoming Toxic, Yash has joined Nitesh Tiwari on the set to shoot his part as Ravana. Social media is abuzz with the news that the KGF star will shoot a war sequence. But, the sequence will be without Ranbir Kapoor, who is essaying the role of Lord Ram in the cinematic adaptation of the Indian Epic Ramayana .
If the reports are anything to go by, the war sequences are being designed on an epic scale. The war sequence will showcase Ravana's strategic brilliance. Moreover, the action choreography is designed in such a way that it will highlight the tactical prowess of the Demon King. The scenes will be a combination of green screen and on-ground sequences enhanced with heavy VFX.
Reportedly, the makers are leaving no stone unturned in creating visually stunning sequences. The team is ensuring the sequences align with the grandeur of Indian mythology.
A couple of days back, reports surfaced that Tiwari is shooting a few sequences of Ramayana with Ranbir Kapoor's body double.
Reportedly, RK had completed almost all his crucial scenes for the first instalment of Ramayana. However, a few minor sequences were left out. As the Animal actor is currently busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Love & War', Tiwari opted to use a body double of the actor for the patchwork, which can be managed without him.
After this, it will be a wrap for the first edition. If everything goes as planned, the second part will begin filming in May. As the movie relies heavily on VFX, Tiwari will spend the next few months working on post-production.
