In a recent interview with News 18, Raashii Khanna offered insights into her real-life bond with her on-screen husband, Sidharth Malhotra. Contrary to their sizzling on-screen chemistry, she revealed that they aren't particularly close off-screen. Describing herself as an introvert, Raashii admitted that they aren't "great friends" and don't engage in constant communication. Instead, she emphasized their "good and respectable co-star relationship," noting that they maintained professional boundaries on set.
Explaining the secret behind their captivating on-screen rapport, Raashii attributed it to their mutual understanding of the craft.
Raashii further added that she shares a ‘good and respectable co-star relationship’ with Sidharth Malhotra. She quipped that during the shoot they would keep to themselves and there wasn’t any ice to break. “When I met him, I thought he was my type. He also felt like I was his type since we’re both introverts. And so, we never tried to encroach on each other’s spaces,” added the actress in an interview with News 18.
While Raashii anticipated their pairing to be visually appealing, she expressed surprise at the overwhelmingly positive audience response.
One of the major reasons for them to connect according to the actress was that they are both from Delhi.
“We also share the Delhi connection. But the only thing ‘Delhi’ about us is our accent (laughs). He asked me, ‘Tu Dilli se hai?’ After that, we had some conversations about the same city, she added
