Prashanth Neel recently shared that the KGF 3 script has been locked but he may or may not be the director of the movie. During the same interaction, the KGF franchise creator said that for him his dream is to work with the Bollywood superstar and legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan but he does not know whether Big B would like to work with him or not.
It is not the first time that the famous South Indian director has revealed his admiration for Amitabh Bachchan . Neel has said multiple times that no one portrays a grey character better than the star of the millennium. He even confirmed that all his heroes have some amount of anti-hero persona of Big B in them because he is very much impressed by Amitabh Bachchan.
Earlier in an interview, Prashanth Neel said that Amitabh Bachchan is his biggest inspiration and there are a lot of movies in which Amitji played the role of a hero as well as the villain character. Neel believes that is a genre that was not much seen after his period.
Prashanth Neel said that he made heroes look villainy which is why he tries to portray even his heroes with more negative shades. These words of Neel are quite true as his Rockybhai character in KGF was similar to what Amitabh Bachchan portrayed during the late 70s and 80s.
It seems working with Amitji is his diehard wish. Elaborating on the same Neel said, “Before I die, I want to do a movie with Amitabh Bachchan. Being a student of cinema of the 70s, 80s and 90s, I can’t think of anybody else other than him. It’s my biggest dream to want to make a movie for Amitabh Bachchan. I’ve to make him the biggest villain in my movie. I would not make it another way. If he agrees to do something, it will be the biggest honour of my life.”
Prashanth Neel and Prabhas’ Salaar will be released on December 22 and will clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki. Salaar’s trailer has been well received and the movie is expected to do well at the box office. His next is with Jr NTR and according to Neel, the movie will showcase entirely different emotions.
