Ankita Lokhande has started shooting for Pavitra Rishta 2.0 with Shaheer Sheikh. The actress took to her microblogging page to share pictures from the initial shoot. While Ankita is back to being Archana, Shaheer looks like Manav that needs acknowledgment from fans as he will be portraying the character made iconic earlier by Sushant Singh Rajput.
While SSR left the show halfway to pursue his dream of becoming a Bollywood star and was replaced by Hiten Tejwani, post-Sushant’s controversial death fans find it difficult to accept any other actor in place Sush. The post of Ankita received lots of good wishes from her friends from the entertainment fraternity including Arti Singh, Rashmi Desai, Amruta Khanwilkar, and more. But fans of the Kedarnath actor are simply not in the mood to accept anyone as Manav except Sushant Singh Rajput.
One of the Instagram users commented that if there is no Sushant, there is no meaning to Pavitra Rishta 2.0. Another user reacted that Pavitra Rishta was good only with Sushant and they simply cannot give his place to anyone else. The second season of this famous television serial has a lot of challenges ahead. While Ankita is returning to the small screen after a long time, for Shaheer Sheikh it will be all about fulfilling the expectations of Sushant’s fans as well as giving his own definition to the character of Manav.

Shaheer is quite an accomplished actor and has a huge female fan following. Over the years he has proved his versatility portraying different characters in serials like Mahabharta and Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi. Interestingly, Pavitra Rishta 2.0 is going the digital way and will stream on ZEE5 so it will have a restricted audience.
Even then the makers are confident of the success of this second season as they believe that people have still not forgotten the magic of Archana and Manav and would love to see them again.
