  • Mirzapur 3 shooting has already started but there is no update on its release date.
  • Actors have reportedly completed shooting for Asur 2.

Mirzapur and Asur are the two biggest hits on the Indian OTT platforms and fans are eagerly waiting for their next season. Both the seasons of Mirzapur were equally interesting and its third season ended in a cliffhanger leaving a lot of questions unanswered. The audience wants to know how the story will take a turn next and possibly end this season. Actors like Pankaj Tripathi, Rasika Duggal, Ali Fazal, and others have already intimated that the shooting has kicked off and they are in the process of completing it soon.

Ali Fazal has further escalated the anticipation by showing glimpses of his preparation for the role of Guddu time and again on his social media account. Reportedly, the actor will be undergoing a transformation for the third season so that he looks tough and powerful enough to eradicate the dominance of Kaleen bhaiya. Fans were expecting the third season of Mirzapur to roll out in July 2022. But it seems the actors are yet to complete the shooting and hence there is a strong possibility that Mirzapur 3 may release either by the end of this year or at the start of next year.

Asur is yet another OTT series that received a lot of appreciation. This Arshad Warsi and Barun Sobti-led series first started streaming in 2020. However, the shooting for the next season was kept on hold due to the Corona Pandemic. Reportedly, most of the actors have already completed the shooting for Asur 2 in Varanasi, Delhi, and Manali. And hence the series may get a release date soon and will most possibly release in the upcoming few months.

The first season Meth from the Asur series was a big hit and starred Arshad Warsi, Barun Sobti, Amey Wagh, Ridhi Dogra, and Anupriya Goenka. Asur 2 is expected to be a psychological thriller and hence anticipation for this season is also very high.
