  • He is preparing for a new smashing look in Mirzapur 3.

Mirzapur 3 is one of the most awaited web series on OTT at present. The first two seasons featuring Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, and Rasika Duggal in the lead were a big hit. The second season ended in a cliffhanger and now, the audience wants a satisfactory and interesting closure to the story that has kept them hooked so far.

Last month, Ali Fazal took to Instagram to share that work on Mirzapur 3 has started. Now reports have surfaced that the handsome actor is learning the basics of wrestling as he has to perform some gruesome action scenes in Mirzapur 3. The makers want the action sequences to look very much real on the screen and hence want Ali Fazal to do most of them on his own.

That is why the actor has started training for wrestling and reportedly he has been training for the last few weeks to look the part. Once Ali Fazal is ready with his newly learned skill he will start shooting for the third installment of Mirzapur.

Rasika Duggal, who can be considered the female lead of this franchise, has already started shooting for the web series. Rasika in a recent statement said that she is glad that Gurmeet Singh who directed the earlier season will be helming the third season too. She, however, said that they will miss Divvyendu and Kulbhushan Kharbanda who were a part of earlier seasons of Mirzapur.

Pankaj Tripathi, who plays the iconic role of mafia don Kaleen Bhaiya, in a recent interview said that the script of the third season is quite 'khatarnak' and the audience must gear up to watch something volatile and interesting. Even Pankaj also praised director Gurmeet and seemed happy that he is directing the third season.

The story revolves around Kaleen Bhaiyya, his wife Beena Tripathi (Rasika Duggal), and gangster Guddu Bhaiya (Ali Fazal). Mirzapur is all about gang wars that are a common thing in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh with mafia dons ruling the underworld.
