Hot OTT Releases: From Mirzapur 3 To The Family Man 3 And Asur 2, Know Most Awaited Series Squeals

Web series have now become the most sought-after alternative entertainment source apart from movies and television shows. OTT platforms and streaming services are offering a large variety of content across genres. With more and more content, it sometimes becomes very difficult to choose what to watch. So here we have listed some upcoming web series which you can look forward to.

The Family Man 3 (Amazon Prime Video)

The Family Man 3 is one of the most anticipated web series of India, with fans eagerly waiting for its launch since the end of second season. The announcement of the third instalment of the spy series by the makers Raj and Dk right after the second season has made the audience super-excited.

Recently, the writer of The Family Man series Suman Kumar hinted that the new season could be set in the Northeast. “Our country is so rich and diverse that there is a lot to explore. India is one country with different worlds and OTT provides a perfect platform to explore regions, cultures and people,” said the writer.

Asur 2 (Voot)

One of the most anticipated psychological thrillers, Asur 2 will mark the return of Nikhil Nair aka Barun Sobti and Dhananjay Rajput aka Arshad Warsi to tell another enthralling story that promises to keep viewers intrigued, enthusiastic, and involved. 
The shooting of the series is nearly complete and fans can't wait for this psychological thriller to binge on it. Riddhi Dogra, Anupriya Goenka, Amey Wadh will also be seen in pivotal roles in this season also.

Aarya Season 2 (Disney+ Hotstar)

After a successful season 1, the Sushmita Sen-starrer crime drama is geared for its second season. The teaser of Aarya Season 2 was dropped recently raising the excitement levels of the fans.

In the teaser, a fierce-looking Sushmita makes her entry amid a colour-filled screen. She is dressed in white and red and walks towards the camera with her face covered with vermillion.

Apart from Sush, Aarya has an elaborate star cast of Vikas Kumar, Namit Das, Sikander kher, Virti Vaghani, Ankur Bhatia in main roles.

Pataal Lok Season 2 - (Amazon Prime Video)

Paatal Lok is set to roll with a new season. The first spell of the Crime thriller left audience gasping with its twists and turns and went on to become the most viewed series on Amazon Prime Video.

Season 2 of the series is expected to leave audiences in awe with the storyline. It is scheduled for a release by the end of 2021 or the beginning of 2022.

Mirzapur 3 (Amazon Prime Video)

After two successful seasons, Amazon had announced that its original series Mirzapur will be renewed for season three. Fans are excited to know the fate of Gudu and Tyagis. An apprehension on whether Golu will be killed by the Tyagis in a revenge plot has left the audience hooked.

Recently, Pankaj Tripathi who plays the Kaleen Bhaiya character in the series shared an update on the show. When asked about Mirzapur 3's release date, Pankaj said that, “That producers will be able to tell you, but I know that it’s being written.”
